BEATCAKES is a mostly NYC/Philly/LA-centric blog that focuses on music news, mp3s, videos, and tour dates. Hip-hop and electro tend to be the main attraction, but posts relating to indie-rock, soul, funk, and others make their way onto the blog as well.
Originally, Beatcakes was the name of Abby’s radio show in college… the blog naturally followed.
This blog was started in March 2008.
